From 26 to 30 June 2023 more than 2000 global experts in a wide range of technical areas of turbomachinery and propulsion engineering will gather in Boston for the 2023 edition of Asme Turbo EXPO. The leading theme of this year is “Collaborate, Innovate and Empower. Propulsion & Power for a sustainable Future“.
Organized by the The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME TURBO Expo is a unique platform to address power sector challenges and discuss new pathways and techinical R&D solutions to meet 2050 sustainability goal.
Exergy will be on stage among the speakers in the conference. On 29th June at 9.30 Federico Bassi, our turbine engineer together with Politecnico di Milano, will present a paper on “Smart ORC” R&D project, developed thanks to the support obtained from the Lombardy “Regional Operational Programme” (ROP) under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the TECHFAST tender. The paper is titled “Squeeze Film Dampers Design and Application in High-Speed Radial Outflow Turbines for Small Size Organic Rankine Cycles“.
