The third edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) will take place in Shanghai at the National Exhibition and Convention Center from Nov 5 to 10 2020. This upcoming expo represents an important occasion for global companies to promote their business and increase their presence in China.
The exhibition area, 360,000 square metre wide, will feature six major pavillons:
- consumer goods
- medical equipment
- medicine and healthcare
- automobiles
- Intelligent Industry &Information Technology
- trade in services.
More than 70% of the world’s Fortune 500 companies and other major players in different industries will be exhibitors at the CIIE. The fair will also welcome 112,000 domestic companies from across the country and 400,000 registered visitors.
The event, promoted by the Chinese government, hosts senior national officials from Beijing, including President Xi Jinping who will deliver the keynote speech via video at the opening ceremony of CIIE on Nov 4.
